Specifically algorithms for the Generalized Fourier Transform (GTF) are
addressed. The GFT is based upon the use of the Inverse Scattering Transform (IST) as solutions
of particular integrable partial differential equations with periodic boundary
conditions, generalized to higher order using Lie transforms (LT) and other methods.
The
integrable equations considered in the present study include the Korteweg-deVries equation
(KdV), the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation (KP) and the nonlinear Schroedinger equation (NLS).
